Parishioners are asked to pick up their Stewardship Journals on Saturday, October 3, from 5:00-8:30 p.m., and on Sunday morning from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. under the covered drive on Custer Road.
Greetings Epiphany Family,
In 2020, we are daily creating new templates for many aspects of our lives.
Epiphany’s stewardship season has taken a unique new form as well. We are excited for our parish family to share the month of October as a season focusing on stewardship, on giving of ourselves, and on supporting one another.
We hope this journal will encourage you in two ways: to turn inward and reflect on the gifts and passions you bring to our parish, and to reach outward to find creative new ways to reconnect (or connect for the first time!) with the Epiphany community — beset by change, but Spirit led.
The journal has been designed for flexibility. Each week in October includes a focus passage, lectionary readings, and selections from the hymnal. We have also listed daily activities, prayers, discussion questions, and opportunities to connect with the parish. Feel free do these activities in any order.
Throughout the stewardship season, we hope to gather photos to be compiled into a presentation documenting our 4 Weeks Together. As you participate in each week’s activities, we hope you will capture your experiences. Please submit your photos to Candace Allen at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Before we start, please join us in prayer:
Almighty and everliving God, ruler of all things in heaven and earth,
hear our prayers for this parish family. Strengthen the faithful,
arouse the careless, and restore the penitent. Grant us
all things necessary for our common life, and bring us all to be
of one heart and mind within your holy Church;
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
