Epiphany Yoga meets each Thursday at 6:15 p.m. in the narthex. Come experience yoga’s many benefits, including increased flexibility, strength and balance, as well as deep relaxation. Contact Janet Hennard at jhennard@yahoo.com or 972-881-9711. Yoga for Seniors meets Tuesdays from 10:45-11:45 a.m. in St. Margaret’s Hall. This slow, gentle class for seniors and those with physical limitations honors changes to our bodies as we age, taking into consideration restrictions such as arthritis pain and stiffness, illness and surgeries. Yoga can help improve posture, increase balance and focus, and improve breathing efficiency. It is a wonderful weight-bearing exercise to help prevent and correct osteoporosis. Please bring a yoga or exercise mat and a blanket. Janet Hennard, a certified yoga instructor who is in training for advanced certification in yoga therapy, teaches the class. Questions?
